Queen Elizabeth Platinum Jubilee Cake

This is a two tiered cake to celebrate Queen Elizabeth's platinum jubilee that was served at a school summer fair. This cake was designed in mind of many different dietary restrictions. The bottom tier has been made to look like flags in the colours of the union jack as well as a large flag with the number 70 cut out of it because the platinum jubilee is the celebration of 70 years on the throne.

The second tear is made to look like the union jack and it is all topped of with a fondant crown. This cake was decorated mostly with fondant and then was stuck together with buttercream. This is one of my proudest cakes and I really enjoyed making it. Please go ahead and look at some of my other masterpieces and see if you would like one of your own.
